After the stupendous success of her previous few films, producer Ekta Kapoor now desires to venture into distribution. She is planning to establish an in-house distribution wing identical to Yash Raj Films and UTV Movies. The distribution wing could be headed by her maternal uncle Ramesh Sippy, who recently rejoined her company.
Ekta first discussed the theory along with her parents and once they seconded it, she had a protracted meeting with the highest officials of the corporate. All of them agreed that the speculation of getting an in-house distribution wing because it makes numerous business sense and can ensure relatively higher returns on every venture.
The CEO of Balaji Motion Pictures, Tanuj Garg, feels that putting in place an in-house all-India distribution infrastructure is solely logical for an organization like Balaji that may be on the forefront of content creation and marketing.
Balaji Motion Pictures' distribution business is predicted to take off within the next four months. For the time being, the brand new team will occupy probably the most floors within the existing Balaji office in Andheri.
