Sanju Baba gets injured on sets of ‘Sher’

There’s a grapevine that actor Neil Nitin Mukesh dating actress Sonal Chauhan. Deepak Tijori to direct thriller for Blue Berry Films

Actor turned director Deepak Tijori, whose last directorial venture was the Sunny Deol- Arjun Rampal starrer Fox (2009) is all to set to don the director's hat again. And this time he'll be directing a movie for Denis Selarka and Mehul Simaria's production house Blue Berry Films Pvt Ltd.

Denis Selarka, who's the ex-CEO of Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd, has now started his own production house Blue Berry Films Pvt Ltd. When asked about signing Deepak to direct his first production, Denis said, "Deepak has always been a chum to me. I'M very comfortable working with him as our sensibility completely matches."

Speaking in regards to the film, he said, "AT THIS TIME all I WILL BE ABLE TO say is that this is a suspense thriller. This can be a heroine oriented subject and is the tale of a school student. We can be launching a brand new girl on this film. We're on the lookout for a sexy and innocent face. Once we lock at the leading lady we can start shooting the film."

The makers are planning to make use of different talented music directors for this film. They have got already finalized two tracks for the film.

Deepak Tijori, who returned to acting after 8 years with RGV's Department has also finished shooting for Kabir Sadanand's Project 36, where he plays the role of the primary antagonist.

Vicky Donor writer pens Shekhar Kapurs next

While Shekhar Kapur's dream project Paani continues to be on hold, the filmmaker is now that specialize in an altogether new venture to be penned by Juhi Chaturvedi, the author of Vicky Donor.

Shekhar loved Vicky Donor and was very impressed incidentally Juhi had written the film. He then met up with Juhi and she or he agreed to put in writing a movie for Shekhar. “Dabangg”, “Singham” and “Agneepath” had their justifiable share of raw action and all did brisk business, earning Rs.145 crore, Rs.139 crore and Rs.120 crore, respectively.

Salman Khan’s “Wanted” and John Abraham’s “Force” also fall within the same league of flicks with tough and powerful male leads, who make villains count stars with their kicks and punches. Culmination? The viewers hooted, clapped, whistled and came back for more.

Clearly, hi-tech entertainers made with mega-budgets like underwater thriller “Blue” and sci-fi “Krrish” and “RA.One” have their place, however the masses, particularly those within the interiors, want raw, rugged action.

Agrees Bollywood’s ‘khiladi’ Akshay Kumar, who returned to action with the Rs.45 crore-worth “Rowdy Rathore” after six years.

“I personally believe that individuals enjoy raw action greater than technology. If you happen to use an excessive amount of of technology, it'll get better. Persons are extremely smart and understand what's real and what's unreal,” Akshay told IANS.

You can’t take your audiences without any consideration. So after I did my first action film ‘Rowdy Rathore’ after six years, I chose to do raw action. I FEEL in manpower and never technological power,” he said.

The success of “Rowdy Rathore”, which grossed over Rs.100 crore within two weeks of its release, ratifies his belief.

According to film critic Omar Qureshi, nothing works and not using a good story.

“Essentially, Bollywood is set songs, dance and drama. In between, our filmmakers were copying straight from Hollywood. They have got a special type of filmmaking, which doesn't really connect to the rawness of our interiors,” Qureshi told IANS.

Does this mean that Bollywood isn't ready for the slick action of flicks within the west?

“No! It's important to detach yourself from the topic after which make a film. You'll have the most efficient gadgets, you'll shoot the movie underwater and you'll shoot the movie at the moon… all you wish to have is a superb story,” he said.

“Rowdy Rathore” co-producer Shabina Khan says action can also be showcased in any form at the big screen, however it is of little need if it doesn’t entertain the fitting way.

Rajesh Khanna improving, prone to be released soon

Rajesh Khanna, who's undergoing treatment in Lilavati Hospital for the past six days, might be released in an afternoon or two, his estranged wife Dimple Kapadia said Thursday.

“Rajesh Khanna is far better now. He'll be released from hospital in an afternoon or two. He's doing significantly better now,” she told IANS.

Rajesh Khanna was admitted to Lilavati Hospital in suburban Bandra Saturday.

The 69-year-old have been battling health issues for quite a while. In April, he were admitted to the hospital when he had complained of weakness and was discharged in three to four days.

Bollywoood’s first superstar Rajesh Khanna, fondly called ‘Kaka’ by his fans, became successful along with his 1969 blockbusters “Aaradhana” and “Do Raaste”. He has also featured in other hits like “Kati Patang”, “Aan Milo Sajna” and “Daag”.

He currently features in Havell’s fan ad campaign – Havells Fans Forever.

Rajesh Khanna married Dimple in 1973 and separated in 1984. They have got two daughters – Twinkle and Rinke.

His elder daughter Twinkle is married to Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar and Rinke is married to investment banker Samir Saran. – IANS

Delhi court rejects Seemas plea against Madhur

Madhur Bhandarkar can heave a sigh of relief as a Delhi court has rejected author Seema Seth's plea against the filmmaker. Seema had accused Bhandarkar, writer Ajay Monga and producer Ronnie Screvwala (UTV) of plagiarism saying that their 2008 film Fashion was in accordance with her book El Dorado. The book was incidentally published 3 months before Fashion's release in October 2008.

Seth requested the court to book Bhandarkar for violation of the Copyright Act, because the idea of the tale were taken from the book without her permission. However, Additional Chief Magistrate Sanjay Sharma dismissed the plea saying there can't be a copyright in an concept or plot, subject matter, themes or legendary facts.

The next hearing is scheduled to happen on August 8 and Seema was asked to bring substantial evidence to validate her claims.

Jannat 2 not allowed to be shown on TV before 11 pm

After The Dirty Picture, Jannat 2 becomes the second one film to be banned by the Censor Board of Film Certification (CBFC) for screening during prime-time slot on TV. The Censor Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has asked producer Ekta Kapoor to tone down the theatrical trailer of her forthcoming film Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum (KSKHH) if she wants it to get a U/A certificate.

Ekta was keen to connect the brand new theatrical promo of KSKHH with Rohit Shetty's Bol Bachchan which releases next Friday. Ekta Kapoor to establish in-house distribution wing

After the stupendous success of her previous few films, producer Ekta Kapoor now desires to venture into distribution. She is planning to establish an in-house distribution wing identical to Yash Raj Films and UTV Movies. The distribution wing could be headed by her maternal uncle Ramesh Sippy, who recently rejoined her company.

Filmmaker Pooja Bhatt has chosen to advertise “Jism 2″ songs with adult content through internet, “a greater than worthy competitor of TV”, in place of showing them on television channels.

“We have six songs in ‘Jism 2′. Only three cater to a universal audience without losing their essence. The opposite three can't be made to appear asexual! Hence, we can only undergo the censor board and plug on TV those songs of ‘Jism 2′ what WE feel is suitable for a family audience,” Pooja tweeted.

“The three ‘Jism 2′ songs that cater to the typical thinking, discerning, passionate, ADULTS could also be viewed freely and by CHOICE around the internet,” she added.

The movie, a sequel to the 2003 film, features Indo-Canadian porn star Sunny Leone, with Arunoday Singh and Randeep Hooda. It's expected to be a steamy affair, and so it shouldn’t be a surprise if the songs are shot in a definite way.

Pooja, daughter of filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, is glad T-Series, which owns the film’s music rights, is in resonance together with her decision.

Untold stories, rare pictures in Dilip Kumar’s new biography

Uday Tara Nayar has written Dilip Kumar’s biography, set to be launched at the legendary actor’s 90th birthday in December. The writer says the two-part book specializes in the actor’s nine-decade long journey, his love story with Saira Banu, some untold stories in addition to rare pictures of the thespian and his family members.

“The book has two parts. The primary part is ready Dilip saab where he has spoken about his career. And the second one part is where various people have mentioned him. People like Yash Chopra and Subhash Ghai, who've worked with him, have spoken about him,” Nayar told IANS.

Dilip Kumar teamed up with Chopra in “Mashaal” and with Ghai in “Saudagar”.

“Yes, you all may even see rare pictures of Dilip saab and his members of the family within the biography. Earlier, many books on him came within the market, but that is the primary authentic book where Dilip saab has told his story in his own words from the day he was born in Peshawar (now in Pakistan) till now,” said Nayar.

“There are a large number of untold stories that one gets to read on this biography. Of course, additionally, you will examine his love story with Saira Banu. It's been the most lasting love story,” she added.

Earlier, three books on Dilip Kumar by Vinita Lamba, Sanjit Nawrekar and Lord Meghnad Desai were published.

The biography by Nayar, that is yet untitled, could be launched on Dilip Kumar’s 90th birthday on Dec 11, 2012.

Dilip saab’s wife, actress Saira Banu, is settling on a title for the biography, she said.

“2013 marks the 100 years on Indian cinema and this book may be a tribute. Dilip saab has completed sixty-eight years within the industry…,” she added.

The 1944 release “Jwar Bhata” was his first film and after that he went directly to give classics like “Madhumati”, “Shaheed”, “Devdas”, “Andaz”, “Amar”, “Mughal-E-Azam”, “Ram Aur Shyam”, “Karma” and “Saudagar”.

His last film was “Quila” in 1998.

He was crowned the Tragedy King of Bollywood for taking part in doomed lover in films like “Andaaz”, “Baabul”, “Mela”, “Deedar”, and “Jogan”.

While many were keen to pen Dilip Kumar’s biography, Nayar says she was the fortunate one to get the chance.

“I consider myself fortunate that Saira Banu and Dilip saab chose me to put in writing the biography. We didn’t start writing it yesterday or day before yesterday, I'VE BEEN penning this for 3 years. Presently the production work goes on,” said the author.

The book might be published jointly by Saira’s entertainment enterprise Sharp Focus and New Media, one of the vital largest bilateral trade magazine publishing house. – IANS

Bipasha to star in horror film Aatma

After Raaz, Darna Zaroori Hai and the yet to release Raaz 3, Bipasha Basu has signed her forth horror film titled Aatma. Aatma, directed by Suparn Varma of Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena and Acid Factory fame, revolves around Bipasha's character and her experience with a spirit.

A set have been specially built at the 21st floor of a building in Andheri for the shooting of Aatma because the story occurs in an apartment in a building. The film has an important twist within the climax and to keep up the confidentiality, only Bipasha, director Suparn Varma and the producers, Kumar Mangat and Abhishek Pathak have the entire script.

Interestingly, Bipasha herself may be very frightened of horror films and covers her eyes along with her hands and watches horror films throughout the gaps between her fingers, but that does not stop her from acting in supernatural thrillers.

Bhaiyyaji Superhit back not off course

After initial hiccups, director Neeraj Pathak's Bhaiyyaji Superhit starring Sunny Deol in a double role is now back not off course. Ranbir fails to look before Udaipur court

Last month, in Udaipur, while Ranbir Kapoor was shooting for his upcoming film Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, an area part of the clicking photographed him allegedly smoking in public. To this effect, a complaint under CrPC Section 156(3) was lodged at a court in Udaipur following which Ranbir was summoned to look before the court on Tuesday. And because he did not be found in the local court, the court has asked him to seem before it on July 26.

Harendra Singh, who's the In-Charge of Udaipur's Ghanta Ghar police station, said that Ranbir have been booked for violation of Section 5 of Rajasthan Prevention of Smoking Act. Readers may note that if the costs are proved, Ranbir could also be sentenced to 6-month imprisonment or be levied a penalty of Rs. 200.

Yash Rajs 3-film offer for Sushant Singh Rajput

If the demand for an actor is a barometer for his success than young Sushant Singh Rajput is actually the star of tomorrow. A minimum of two of the most important production houses in Bollywood, UTV and Yash Raj Films, are currently considering Rajput for exclusive deals.

Says our source from Yash Raj, "Adi immediately offered him the parallel lead with Arjun Kapoor in Aurangzeb. Also, Aditya Chopra had seen Sushant Singh Rajput's dancing in Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa. He desired to make a full-fledged dance film with Rajput. A 3RD film would was finalized later."

Unfortunately, UTV wouldn't allow Rajput to sign any outside contacts.

A friend of the actor spilled the beans, "Aditya Chopra met Sushant and told him he had seen his work on television and had big screen plans for the young actor. Adi Chopra desired to sign Sushant for a 3-film contract."

Since the young actor was already under contract with UTV, he asked for time to talk to UTV before getting back.

Says Rajput's friend, "Sushant must fulfill his 2-film take care of UTV before he can sign the rest with an outdoor banner. They've invested such a lot within the Chetan Bhagat adaptation Kai Po Che. They expect Sushant's career to take off in a large way. UTV naturally desires to make the most of his popularity once his debut film is released."

Pooja Bhatt highly upset with Censor Board

Director Pooja Bhatt is one upset lady, courtesy, the Censor Board. The reason is Censor Board has given an A-certificate to the song promo of her upcoming film Jism 2 that stars Sunny Leone. And this has infuriated her to no end. That is the reason why Pooja has decided that she's going to put her foot down.

Pooja has now found an alternative option to 'showcase' her film's promos: the web. She's going to be going ahead and releasing the uncensored song on the net. She says that the promo of the film's theme song that was as a result of go on air on June 29th will now be released on the web simultaneously in its uncensored form.

She vented out her anger at the Censor Board by going hammer and tongs by tweeting "First music promo for #Jism2 was given an 'A' certificate. And this was what you can actually call a very watered down version. So the deal is this-You can't buy spots on TV for a promo with an 'A' certificate. Which basically means you can not publicize your music!" She also protested, "Absolutely REFUSE to pare my scheduled trailer right down to pander to an over cautious Censor board. Will release promo on the web instead."

Pooja quoted the instance of Delhi Belly which was cleared by the censors, "DKBose faced no censor prob bcz they didnt understand lyrics!R they claiming 2 understand J2 visuals mre than they did DBlyrics?"

Pooja, who's understandably very upset with the Censors' tackle TV promos, said that the censors wish to give clear directives in regards to the same. She said that it sort of feels like we only accept sex whether it is portrayed in a vulgar manner in order that we will be able to 'laugh' it off.

My marriage plans jinxed: Veena Malik

Pakistani model-turned-actress Veena Malik was expected to seek out her prince charming on “Veena Ka Swayamvar”, however the reality show was aborted after the Imagine channel decided to close down its operations. Veena says she isn't upset as she knows that her marriage plans are doomed.

Esha Deol is my princess, says fiance Bharat Takhtani

From her cousin Abhay Deol to friends Sohail Khan and Genelia D’Souza – actress Esha Deol and her fiance Bharat Takhtani’s sangeet ceremony saw a large number of Bollywood celebrities and the couple couldn't stop gushing about each other.

“I am madly love with him, I can’t take my eyes off him,” Esha said about her fiance Bharat, a businessman.

Pouring his heart out, Bharat called Esha his “princess for life,” and added that that he's “looking forward to having my best life and my most wonderful life with my partner.”

A beaming Esha was wearing a orange-red heavily embroidered lehenga-choli by designer Rokcy S, while her beau flaunted a royal-blue embroidered sherwani.

A trained dancer, Esha managed to get Bharat to bounce on the retro-themed sangeet ceremony.

“I love dancing and that i managed to get Bharat to bop and he also finally agreed to dance,” said Esha.

Meanwhile, guests from B-Town wished the couple the entire best.

Abhay, who came together with his girlfriend Preeti Desai, said: “I wish they live happily together and clearly it’s a momentous occasion. I'M very excited and happy for them.”

Filmmaker-actor Sohail Khan, who's a chum of Bharat, said that he knows Bharat since years. “He is a Bandra boy and Esha have been a family friend. I just wish all of them the most efficient and they're a gorgeous couple.”

Newly married couple Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia feel that marriage will mark a thrilling new chapter in Esha-Bharat’s relationship.

“I just wish them a contented married life. I'M extremely happy for Esha that she found her real love and want them both a contented married life,” Riteish said.

Genelia: “Yeah, we want all of them the most productive for his or her new life together and i'm sure it’s going to be a thrilling new chapter of their life.”

Esha’s mehendi ceremony might be on June 28 followed by the a conventional wedding in a temple June 29 and a reception the following day. – IANS

‘Ek Tha Tiger’ to release Aug 15

Romantic-thriller “Ek Tha Tiger” starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif will hit theatres on Independence Day, Aug 15, while its trailers may be unveiled Wednesday.

The new trailer might be released online and will be seen on YouTube after 12 noon and in theatres Friday.

Directed by Kabir Khan and produced by Aditya Chopra, the film will see Salman-Katrina pair on silver screen after four years. Their last film together was 2008 release “Yuvvraaj”. – IANS

For Shah Rukh, it’s been twenty years in Bollywood, but his tryst with showbiz began in 1988, the year he started his journey with TV series “Fauji”, after being trained on the Barry John’s Acting Studio. Next year he featured in another successful show “Circus” and “Doosra Keval”.

If people loved his act on small screen, he won hearts as a crazy lover in “Deewana”, through which he was competing without any rather than Rishi Kapoor within the lead role. After making it big in showbiz, he turned businessman by launching his production house Red Chillies Entertainment and later by investing within the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), whose victory on the fifth IPL season was a silver lining for the star this year as lately, he have been part of controversies.

He got embroiled in a brawl with director Shirish Kunder and have been banned from entering Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium for 5 years over his alleged misbehaviour with security personnel and MCA officials.

But later he admitted his mistake and apologised too.

“Made mistakes, still continue to take action. A BIT madness. SOMEWHAT solitude. Too silly to understand it’s impossible and perhaps that’s why it gets achieved.

Esha Deol’s sangeet a personal affair: Hema Malini

Esha Deol’s sangeet ceremony, her first pre-wedding celebration function Monday, might be a personal affair, says her mother, veteran actress Hema Malini, who might be seen on the function in designer wear.

“Today is Esha’s sangeet ceremony, in order to be held in a hotel. I don’t wish to say where it's happening. This can be a very private affair with close family and friends. The programme will begin at 8.30 p.m.,” Hema told IANS.

Esha is ready to tie the knot together with her beau Bharat Takhtani Friday.

Asked whether the danseuse will perform on the sangeet, she said: “I might not be performing tonight. Esha’s friends and Bharat may be performing tonight.”

Hema, who will drape a standard kanjeevaram sari for the D-day, will wear a Neeta Lulla creation for the sangeet.

“Kanjeevarams are booked just for the marriage. I'M wearing a sari tonight for the function. My designer was Neeta Lulla to this point. She is my main designer, but considered one of my outfits could also be designed by Bhumika (of Shyamal and Bhumika),” she said.

Lulla, who styled Esha’s bridal look in “Na Tum Jaano Na Hum”, has also worked on her real life wedding attire.

“For Esha, costumes was designed by Neeta Lulla and Rocky S. Neeta has designed for Esha’s wedding and mehendi, while Rocky has designed for her sangeet,” Hema said.

The sangeet ceremony might be followed by mehendi day Wednesday, and a standard temple wedding Friday. – IANS

Madhuri Dixit, Sushmita Sen honoured for excellence

Bollywood diva Madhuri Dixit and previous beauty queen and actress Sushmita Sen were honoured for individual excellence within the field of acting and entrepreneurship respectively here Monday night.

While Sushmita was honoured with woman entrepreneur award for successfully running her organisation –I AM SHE, Madhuri was conferred with platinum diva award, at Planman Media’s Powerbrands Hall of Fame awards held at Kingdom of Dreams.

“I am very proud and honoured after receiving the award. It reiterates the truth that people still take a look at me with integrity. I'VE come here with a large number of hard work,” said Madhuri, who was accompanied by husband Sriram Nene, after receiving the award.

While thanking for the honour, Sushmita said: “It have been a journey for me. I won Miss Universe in 1994, got to do my first film ‘Dastak’ in 1996 and now I receive this woman entrepreneur award for I'M SHE, which I opened two years ago.”

Will Ajay allow Emraans Raaz to open with Bol Bachchan

The only hitch though is the eventual content that will appear at the big screens. Since Raaz 3 is a horror franchise and is predicted to be an 'A' or a 'U/A' affair, its promo could be edited accordingly in order that it may well come along side a 'family affair' like Bol Bachchan.

No wonder, producer Mukesh Bhatt is keeping his options open. He says, "WE'D be trying for Bol Bachchan to unveil Raaz 3. However, if that does not happen, we might release it straight on TV and online every week later. We've a Plan B in place."

Guess by then, Ajay and Emraan could be capable of deal with matters amongst themselves by their own.

Dabangg 2 shooting resumes today

The shooting for Dabangg 2 resumes today, after the accident at the sets on Saturday.

The film's producer-director Arbaaz Khan says the injured are fine. "They suffered blunt injuries. It is going to take them a couple of days to heal. They are going to soon be discharged from hospital. We packed up shooting after the injury. But we resume from Monday."

Says Arbaaz, "Salman wasn't shooting. But he was at the set. He had come to look the shot. A mishap occurred when an action sequence was being shot without the actors. The stunt went a little bit awry and 3 people got injured. They were immediately rushed to hospital."

Said Arbaaz, "Accidents do happen regardless of the entire precautions taken. Thankfully the injury was all blunt and everybody is fine. But such an incident could be very disturbing."

New man in Bipasha Basu’s life?

Ever since Bipasha Basu get a divorce together with John Abraham a year ago, she’s been related to a string of guys similar to Rana Daggubatti and Josh Hartnett who’s her co-actor in her first English movie ‘Singularity’. Throughout the shoot of ‘Singularity’ in India a year ago, there’s a superb buzz that she shared great chemistry together with Josh but Bipasha always rejected it.

 However, now it looks she’s reconnected together with Josh during her current shoot in London for the movie. A newspaper reports that once Bips and Josh met one another after several months, they noticed that point and distance hadn’t dulled their chemistry. They’d apparently opt for dinner and occasional once filming was over. However, this isn’t the beginning of a brand new romance for Bipasha as she is familiar with that long-distance relationships don’t work.

Bipasha herself accepted in an interview, “We started off as accommodating co-actors, but with time Josh and I’ve become close. We learned an effective link the primary time around and would hang around often. Josh was a amazing friend. We’ve great chemistry within the movie. In fact, we sizzle on-screen!”

 But the actress confesses that a relationship isn’t possible. “We live in several locations, and that's an important barrier in relation to maintaining friendships. We’re very keen on one another though, so we immediately reconnected after we met again in London.

Three crew members injured on ‘Dabangg 2′ sets

Three technicians were injured at the sets of Salman Khan-starrer “Dabangg 2″ at Mehboob Studio here Saturday, and were admitted to the Lilavati Hospital. They're all out of danger, official sources said.

“There was a mishap while filming an action sequence for ‘Dabangg 2′ at Mehboob Studio, Bandra, today. Three technicians sustained injuries and were taken to Lilavati Hospital by the doctor and ambulance which are on precautionary standby as a security measure while filming action sequences,” said an official statement from the publicists of the movie.

“Members of the principal cast weren't filming in the course of the mishap. All three technicians are out of danger,” the statement read.

The technicians were injured following an “electric blast” at the set, said a source.

Salman accompanied the injured people, two of whom were initially said to be “serious”, to the hospital.

His brother Arbaaz Khan, who's directing the movie, too came to the hospital, as did their father, veteran writer Salim Khan.

“Dabangg 2″ is the sequel to 2010 blockbuster “Dabangg”, which starred Salman and Sonakshi Sinha in key roles.

Actor Mona Singh won hearts as an ugly, yet confident duckling in “Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi”, and now as a robust woman who battles her husband’s infidelity in “Kya Huaa Tera Vaada”, she desires to inspire women around the country.

“As an actor, I'M here to inspire women in whatever way I can,” Mona told IANS.

“There are many ladies who aren’t treated well, whose husbands have extra-marital affairs and yet there are women who accept them back. But here I NEED to inform them to face up for themselves and never be depending on their husband for each decision and for money,” she added.

In the show, the actress plays Mona, a happily married woman with three kids. Their family life is ideal until her husband goes back to his college sweetheart.

The current track of the Sony show features Mona who steps out of her life as a homemaker to make a mark for herself and be financially independent for the sake of her kids.

“A women needs to be independent, she should be working. She has to move out and meet new people,” says the 31-year-old.

While Mona’s husband is essayed by actor Pawan Shankar, actress Mouli Ganguly plays his love interest.

The show’s track was compared with that of David Dhawan’s 1999 hit film “Biwi No.1″. But Mona says it isn’t completely so.

“To a definite extent I agree, for the reason that man did have an extra-marital affair and there has been infidelity, but that was a three-hour movie. However, this can be a serial and it'll last for twelve months or two years at least, so it can't be in line with a movie,” Mona said.

In the time that Mona was clear of small screen’s fictional content, she was seen at the big screen in films like “3 Idiots” and “Utt Patangg”. Her association with TV was only limited with reality shows “Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4″, “Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega 4″ and “Shaadi 3 Crore Ki”.

Just when everybody thought she had shifted to the massive screen, she came back to TV.

To this, Mona says movies are only an advantage and her heart lies with the idiot box.

“I was never going to quit television. You’ll never read a single interview of mine where I'VE said that ‘Okay, that is it! I'VE done enough, of television and now I'M quitting.’ Quitting was never my idea,” Mona said.

“I started from television, I belong here and that i will continue to try this. Movies will happen whenever they're speculated to happen. Movies might be bonus for me, television is my everyday bread, butter and jam and everything,” she added. – IANS
