They made waves together in Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai and went directly to share an excellent camaraderie in Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji in addition. Now this on-screen association may continue in real life as plans are being put into place to introduce Emraan's Raaz 3 with Ajay's Bol Bachchan.
"As is the case with the discharge of each big film, there are choice of other upcoming films that need to get related to it. Even Raaz 3 intends to connect it's promo with Bol Bachchan. After Rowdy Rathore, there hasn't been a single big release. Hence all eyes are on Bol Bachchan to house as many promos as possible. Raaz 3 is a undeniable contender", informs a source.
However, for Ajay and Co., the difficulty is that it's not just Raaz 3 but many other upcoming films that need to be showcased alongside. Also, the truth that this can be a family film implies that filmmakers would receive advantages immensely from attaching their First Look with the Ajay Devgn starrer because it is predicted to draw massive footfalls.
"Emraan would still win the battle though since he and Ajay share an even relationship and there's no professional rivalry either. Unlike Salman Khan who's said to have put his foot down over not allowing the primary Look of Shah Rukh Khan's yet untitled film to be attached to his Ek Tha Tiger, Ajay doesn't have this type of issues, least of all from Raaz 3", the source adds.
The only hitch though is the eventual content that will appear at the big screens. Since Raaz 3 is a horror franchise and is predicted to be an 'A' or a 'U/A' affair, its promo could be edited accordingly in order that it may well come along side a 'family affair' like Bol Bachchan.
No wonder, producer Mukesh Bhatt is keeping his options open. He says, "WE'D be trying for Bol Bachchan to unveil Raaz 3. However, if that does not happen, we might release it straight on TV and online every week later. We've a Plan B in place."
Guess by then, Ajay and Emraan could be capable of deal with matters amongst themselves by their own.
