While Shekhar Kapur's dream project Paani continues to be on hold, the filmmaker is now that specialize in an altogether new venture to be penned by Juhi Chaturvedi, the author of Vicky Donor.
Shekhar loved Vicky Donor and was very impressed incidentally Juhi had written the film. He then met up with Juhi and she or he agreed to put in writing a movie for Shekhar. Juhi has already started work at the film and is predicted to finish scripting this script by the tip of the year. Apparently, the film is a social drama based in a rural area in Rajasthan.
Shekhar can be directing the film himself and the film will go on floors in 2013. He's also in talks with NDFC to supply the film.
Currently, Juhi is already committed to 3 projects. One with Ram Mirchandani's Rampage Motion Pictures, the others with Shoojit Sircar's Rising Sun Films and John Abraham's J A Productions respectively.
Shekhar Kapur is anticipated to begin work on Paani after the completion of this film.
