It made headlines when maverick director Vishal Bhardwaj announced his film with Ekta Kapoor. The film starring Emraan Hashmi which was initially titled Daayan has now passed through a dramatic change. It had apparently run into trouble when differences arose between Ekta and Vishal over the title.
However, now we hear that Ekta has finally relented giving in to Bhardwaj's demand for a metamorphosis of title to Ek Thi Daayan. Apparently, the change in title came after Vishal shot for nine days when he felt that the storyline of the film warranted a metamorphosis in film's title. One can not help but notice the similarity of this movie name with the impending Salman Khan starrer Ek Tha Tiger.
