A K Hangal returns to acting

At the ripe age of 97, veteran actor A K Hangal is making a return to acting with the television show 'Madhubala'.

A K Hangal, who has acted in additional than 200 Hindi films in a career spanning nearly five decades, is most remembered for his roles in films like Sholay, Namak Haraam and Shaukeen.

The makers of the show 'Madhubala' wanted A K Hangal to join their show as their show is a tribute to the 100 years of Indian cinema and Mr. Hangal was part of the industry for a long time. Hangal is very happy and excited to be part of the television show as he feels that work knows no age limit.

Sometime ago it was reported that the nonagenarian actor was facing financial problems and having a difficult time meeting his medical and daily expenses but everything is ok now as he have been getting help from people from the film fraternity.

'Madhubala' is predicated at the world of cinema and follows the tale of a woman who's forced into the sector of glamour and showbiz. It stars Drashti Dhami, Vivian D'sena, Raj Zutshi and Shagufta Ali.
