Doctors ask Aamir Khan to apologise

Post the most recent episode of Aamir Khan's talk show 'Satyamev Jayate', which targeted corrupt doctors and highlighted unethical practices and shocking revelations in medical treatment, an umbrella body of 21 medical institutions have asked the actor to apologise for accusing doctors of malpractices.

Medscape India said the representation of malpractices supposedly perpetrated by doctors was 'rather sad' and Aamir Khan should offer his apologies.

"Aamir Khan is my favourite actor and he should keep on with making films," said doctor, Sunita Dube, president of Medscape.

"Surprisingly, no doctors' body has spoken against Aamir yet. We have to stand united against such blatant lies. We're going to write a scathing letter demanding an apology from him," Dube added.

Medscape also talked about that doctors were subjected to assault with none fault and lots of people didn't understand the pressures of the profession.
