The leading lady of Sudhir's Mishra's next directorial venture Mehrunissa have been zeroed down and it's none rather than the sultry Chitrangda Singh. Chitrangda has surpassed the likes of Vidya Balan and Katrina Kaif to bag this role.
In the film, Chitrangda can be seen romancing Rishi Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan. Mehrunissa is the tale of a feminine actor within the 1970s and traces her journey from the age of 20 to the current when she is 62.
Mehrunissa could be Chitrangda's third film with the director Sudhir Mishra after Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi and Yeh Saali Zindagi.
The film is jointly produced by Sudhir Mishra, Nikhil Advani and DAR Motion Pictures.
