There's a famous dialogue in Bollywood which matches as 'Daane daane pe likha hai khaane wale ka naam'. The similar holds true for the much coveted role of Sher Khan (which was portrayed by the veteran actor Pran) within the remake of the 70s blockbuster Zanjeer (directed by Apoorva Lakhia). Reports have it that, the role, which was first offered to Sonu Sood, also saw a powerful contender in Sanjay Dutt... has now finally fallen within the lap of none instead of Arjun Rampal!
Arjun said that because the remake relies in today's times, his look doesn't necessarily have to be exactly like Pran saab's within the original. He also added that along side Apoorva, he has worked out a couple of ideas on his get up, which they'll shortly zero down for the general look. Meanwhile, Apoorva stated that Arjun's looks and physique make him the easiest choice for a job like Sher Khan.
The remake of Zanjeer is being produced by Reliance Entertainment, Adai Mehra Productions and Flying Turtles and the shooting of the film shall commence soon.
