After Heroine, Kareena Kapoor has reportedly bagged yet one more female centric role. Kareena may be seen essaying the role of Queen Arundhati within the Hindi remake of 2009 Telugu blockbuster Arundhati.
Arundhati is a fantasy action thriller set in earlier period with breathtaking graphics and technology. It's said that Sonu Sood, who played the villain within the original will essay the similar role within the Hindi version besides.
Anushka Shetty, who played the role of Arundhati within the original bagged many awards and tremendous accolades for her performance and have become one of the most top most heroines of Telugu films.
Gemini Kiran, who bought the rights for the Hindi remake, confirms that they have got approached Kareena to play the lead. He'll be co-producing the film with Vidhu Vinod Chopra.
Earlier Rani Mukerji and Katrina Kaif were also approached for the role but none of them could do the role as a result of date issues.
