On Tuesday, Anil Kapoor and Bipasha Basu enthralled the audiences in Singapore, wherein they announced that the 13th International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Weekend and Awards can be held within the Lion City from 7th - 9th June 2012.
At the event, Anil Kapoor said, "With the promise of bringing the most productive and the most important of events to its viewers in a fashion that's unique and entertaining, the IIFA Weekend and Awards have today become an iconic platform that the arena respects."
Speaking about this year's IIFA being held in Singapore, he said, "I'M related to IIFA for many years now. The attempt is to make the awards the most efficient once a year. Being here it becomes easier to carry the awards because the government is supportive and systematic."
Bipasha Basu also added, "IIFA is essentially the most respected cinema Awards and something I GLANCE forward to each year. It is a great opportunity for me to be here in Singapore personally to symbolize Indian Cinema on this type of global platform. I'm sure that this year's IIFA can be a gorgeous success."
