His forthcoming film Tezz is yet to release but director Priyadarshan is already able to start his next venture this month. The film in question is Malamaal Weekly 2, sequel to Priyan's 2006 hit film Malamaal Weekly.
While the unique one starred actors like Riteish Deshmukh, Paresh Rawal, Om Puri, Rajpal Yadav and Asrani, the sequel could have Nana Patekar and Shreyas Talpade (who replaces Riteish) this time around.
However just like the original one, the sequel too will revolve around a number of villagers hoping to become rich overnight by buying a lottery ticket.
Priyan hopes to finish shooting Malamaal Weekly 2 in a begin to finish schedule in Wai later this month.
