Fardeen Khan can now finally heave a sigh of relief, as today the Mumbai Sessions Court granted immunity to him from prosecution within the long pending 2001 drug case. The actor will now not be tried within the drug case.
He have been granted immunity within the case at the condition that he's going to undergo a detoxification process, which he has already completed. However, if he's arrested for the same offence within the future, then the immunity against him will be withdrawn.
Outside the court, a visibly relieved Khan told the media, "I'M extremely grateful to the judge for accepting my application."
