I am scared of kissing on screen – Bipasha Basu

bipasha basu 200x266 Bipasha Basu is understood for her bold roles in “Jism”, “Raaz” and “Race”. But if it involves locking lips on big screen, the actress isn’t comfortable.

“I am terrified of kissing on screen. Yes, on-screen kissing nerves me to death and that i had a very very uncomfortable experience in ‘Jodi Breakers’ with R. Madhavan who's a friend,” Bipasha told IANS.

“I needed to kiss him, it was important for the film, so there has been no convincing that was required. I knew I MIGHT do it however the process isn't easy.

“Even for ‘Raaz 3′, it’s unlikely to be easy but don’t scare me from now. In the case of it, we will see,” she added.

The Bipasha-Madhavan starrer romantic comedy “Jodi Breakers” is popping out Feb 24.

But Bipasha won’t mind kissing — for her role.

“I am not dumb because I seek films and kissing is the integral a part of sex, romance, passion whatever expression you are attempting to turn. We watch English films always and we watch Hindi films where these items became regular.

“I as a person find it tough to do. I WILL BE ABLE TO do it as it’s my work, but I'LL BE very uncomfortable,” the 33-year-old said.

Director Ashwini Chaudhary’s “Jodi Breakers” will see Bipasha-Madhavan’s for the primary time. The actress says their onscreen chemistry has got some rave reviews.

“I love Madhavan as an actor… Response that me and Maddy have received as a pair have been stupendous.

“Anyone who had a doubt on us, they arrive back saying we have now an excessively unusual chemistry occurring. And while you see the film, you wish to have them to be together. I REALLY LIKE our chemistry on screen. Besides we expect alike.”

This is Bipasha’s first romantic comedy.

“It has good content. Just like the West comes out with numerous romcom and they're like really bad one – worse than the opposite.

“Sometimes we have a tendency to ape them in our romcom but what's nice is this has a narrative which has a correct thought in it.”

She feels aside from the content, the idea that of the film may be unusual.

“It’s a singular film. It’s an unusual concept and weird profession. Lot of couples are unhappy and so they just don’t know the way to split. I FEEL in the event that they aren't happy in a relationship, it's better to get separated and discover a new life instead of die in a wedding. So, what ‘Jodi Breakers’ are doing is they don’t believe in breaking happy couples,” she said.

However, in real life, Bipasha, who separated from long-time boyfriend John Abraham last year, says her hands are too full to fret about others.

“I am a company believer in love. But I'M neither a jodi breaker not a jodi maker. I don’t advice anybody anything. I'M coping with myself and there's an excessive amount of to deal with,” she said. – IANS
