Sajid-Wajid to take legal action against Abhijeet

Singer Abhijeet, who has always been known for his electrifying voice, was within the news of late for the incorrect reasons. Recently, he accused the composer duo Sajid-Wajid of plagiarizing the music of Housefull 2. He blamed that the duo lifted a tune from his album Tere Bina of their song 'Do You Know' within the film.

It now seems that the composer duo has had enough and that is the reason why, they've now decided to take legal action against the singer. They furthermore came strong in this decision when Abhijeet called on the Composers' Housing Society (Royal Classic at Andheri) late last week and complained against the composer duo.

A visibly irritated Wajid spared no emotions while lashing it out on Abhijeet. He said he desired to put an end to all of the allegations. What he did not understand was the truth that what took the singer see you later to appreciate the similarities between the two, due to the fact that the film's music was released on February 6 this year. He also talked about that how Abhijeet can speak about being 'original', when he himself earns a living by imitating the (late) Kishore Kumar. Wajid strongly said that even supposing someone gave them a possibility to replicate his (Abhijeet's) song for free, they are going to reject it. He also mentioned at Abhijeet's song within the film Gangster was a note-by-note copy of a Pakistani song composed by M. Arshad. What he fails to grasp is that how Abhijeet can break out singing by a remake of Pakistani song when he had initiated a campaign against singers from Pakistan in Bollywood.

Wajid also added that it's Abhijeet himself who have to be the primary to be punished as he's so adamant on punishing Indians who work with Pakistani musicians. As a finishing shot, he remarked that 'respect is commanded, not demanded'.

Over to you, Abhijeet!
