Director duo Abbas-Mustan’s multi-starrer thriller “Race 2″ may be released Jan 25 next year. The makers promise more grandeur and thrill within the movie, a sequel to the 2008 movie “Race”.
“We felt it was just the proper date to release our film,” producer Ramesh Taurani said in a press release.
The multi-starrer thriller features Saif Ali Khan, John Abraham, Deepika Padukone, Jacqueline Fernandez, Anil Kapoor and Ameesha Patel.
“We shot for the second one schedule from Jan 23 to Feb 24. It took off smoothly and the star cast have been accommodating throughout. We're very excited and hope to make ‘Race 2′ bigger and higher than the original,” Taurani said.
Abbas Burmawalla of director duo Abbas-Mustan said: “‘Race 2′ is within the same genre and can be made on a grand scale because the original. We can be shooting in Turkey and Cyprus next. The tale has various twists and turns, and each character may have gray shades.” – IANS
