Sikh students wants action against Ajay Devgn

Claiming that Sikhs were being shown in a negative light within the movie Son of Sardar, the All India Sikh Students Federation has urged the clergy to do so against Ajay Devgn.

In a letter to Akal Takht head Gurbachan Singh, AISSF president Karnail Singh demanded action against Ajay Devgn for hurting the religious emotions of Sikhs.

The Akal Takht is the highest temporal seat of the Sikh religion. Karnail Singh Tuesday said the movie, to be launched in November, had blasphemous comments against Sikhs. AISSF has wanted registration of a police case against Ajay Devgn.

Karnail Singh said they’d sent a legal notice to Ajay Devgn and asked to erase the objectionable clips. But Ajay Devgn hadn’t responded to the notice, he said.
