Punjabi film to be released in Pakistan

ajj de ranjhe 200x276 What the Salman Khan-starrer “Ek Tha Tiger” couldn't achieve, Punjabi movie “Ajj De Ranjhe” has accomplished — it will likely be released in Pakistan.

The Punjabi film is scheduled for worldwide release Sep 7, director Manmohan Singh said Sunday.

He said it'll even be released in India, Canada, New Zealand, Britain, the US, Australia and European countries in conjunction with Pakistan the similar day.

Pakistan has banned on “Ek Tha Tiger”.

“Pakistan has an excessively big Punjabi population. We're thinking about the discharge of our film in Pakistan,” said Manmohan singh, who's an ace Bollywood cinematographer.

“This is sort of a dream come true within the context of Punjabi films,” he added.

“The Pakistan release will provide Punjabi cinema with a brand new Punjabi market. Without including Pakistan’s Punjab, the ambit of Punjabi audience could be very limited.”

“Ajj De Ranjhe” is a romantic comedy starring Aman Dhaliwal, Gurleen Chopra and Gurpreet Ghuggi. – IANS
