Rohan Sippy, who last directed Dum Maaro Dum, is now all outfitted to commence his next film in July. Presented by T-series and Ramesh Sippy Entertainment Pvt Ltd., the film is a buddy -comedy. The yet untitled film will mark Bhushan Kumar and Ramesh Sippy's first three way partnership as co- producers.
For the primary time, Rohan do not have Abhishek Bachchan because the lead face for his film unlike his previous directorial ventures Kuch Naa Kaho, Bluffmaster and Dum Maaro Dum. Abhishek, who loved the script but has other work commitments, could be appearing within the film in a cameo. Rohan further adds, "HE'S my good-luck charm and he's doing a cameo. We're seeking to shoot before he starts shooting for his upcoming action flick."
The film will see actors Ayushmann Khurrana and Kunal Roy Kapoor sharing the screen space for the primary time. Earlier, Rohan had worked with Kunal Roy Kapoor because the producer when Kunal had directed political satire The President Is Coming few years ago.
Says Rohan, "I SPOTTED that Kunal has great potential as an actor and that's the reason why we got him on board in addition. Ayushmann and Kunal are new age actors who've a undeniable connect to today's audience."
Speaking on association with Bhushan Kumar, Rohan says, "WE NOW HAVE done many films with Bhushan Kumar and he's an especially passionate producer. It's amazing to look the type of clout he enjoys within the industry, but regardless of that, he has the fervour to make those sorts of films that he believes in."
Bhushan Kumar too is rather content to work with Sippy Junior. Says Kumar, "Rohan is one director who has an excellent sense of music. The experience of engaged on Dum Maaro Dum with him was great. Or even now, he has given me numerous freedom to get entangled within the music of this film."
Well, one is eagerly waiting for watching the talented young duo - Ayushmann and Kunal - weave their magic onscreen.
