Kangna Ranaut becomes director

For all individuals who thought that Kangna Ranaut was getting typecasted into the similar mould in most of her films, here's some news for you in an effort to make you sit up straight and take notice. And the scoop is that Kangna has now added yet another feather to her cap by becoming a director!

Reportedly, Kangna's directorial debut is an untitled short film, that's written in collaboration with an Australian writer, which was shot in La with an all-American cast and crew. The said film deals with a posh subject involving a dog and a four-year-old boy.

Talking about her plunge into direction, Kangna said that she decided to take action after meeting Hollywood biggies during one in all her recent trips to Los Angeles.

And since she desired to be ready for her debut, she attended numerous workshops and in addition delved somewhat into child psychology to assist her get connected with the nature of the child within the film. She revealed that it took six months of thorough groundwork for a similar. She added that since Kaden (the kid actor) may be very young, they'd to position hidden cameras and play games with him as a way to get him within the frame. The dog however was well-trained and never difficult to work with.

On a later date, Kangna is planning to send the film for international festivals, but as of now, her full team is targeting finishing the editing and visible effects.
