Game show “Kaun Banega Crorepati”, to be hosted by megastar Amitabh Bachchan yet again, could be back in its prime time slot, channel officials said Tuesday.
“It may be a first-rate time show. I can’t inform you the precise slot because we're in discussion we're brain storming the correct time. But certainly it will likely be a chief time slot,” Sony Entertainment Television (SET) senior vice chairman and marketing head Danish Khan told IANS.
“We haven't decided the times however the talks are on. We will be able to soon make an official announcement,” he added.
KBC have been slotted for either 8.30 or 9 p.m. time band so far.
The channel Thursday announced one more marketing and communication campaign “Sirf Gyaan Hi Aapko Aapka Haq Dila Sakta Hai” because the communication theme for the impending season of the sport show.
“The challenge was how can we take the philosophy to the following level. We came up with ‘Gyaan hi aapko aapka haq dilata Hai’ because it’s an excellent factor to empower people. While you see the show you will see that shades of that,” said Khan.
“One of a very powerful a part of the show is how we democratise all of the KBC. We now have taken immense pain with lot of delight in order for we expand the bottom of KBC. On every occasion you will see KBC episode, you'll discover a small India.”
Big B, who have been hosting various seasons of KBC for quite some time, could be seen again for the KBC 2012 besides. Khan says they can’t recall to mind anyone else in his place.
“There is basically nobody like Mr Bachchan. His appeal transcends across the entire age groups. He can relate and attach with people of all backgrounds. His command over the language – Hindi, English and plenty of other local language, his humility and sincerity these are the standards that drives his popularity.”
“And that brings immense popularity to our show. Individuals are desperate to watch him again on KBC. I can’t recall to mind anybody else.”
KBC 2012 is slated to telecast by August end or by September. – IANS
