Vinod Chopra Production is the primary production house in India to celebrate a retrospective in their films made in last 30 years. Ranging from Vinod Chopra's first film Khamosh to all of the films made under the banner like Parinda, 1942 Love Story, Pareenita, Kareeb, Mission Kashmir, Munna Bhai MBBS, Lage Raho Munnabhai and three Idiots - all 11 films could be showcased.

The retrospective could be done nationally in all PVR Cinemas from March 29 to April 4. Essentially the most interesting a part of this retrospective is that known filmmakers will moderate an inventive discussion after every film.

The schedule is as follows:

March 30 5.30 - 6.30 pm: Discussion on Parinda moderated by Anurag Kashyap and Sudhir Mishra.

7 - 8 pm: Discussion on Parineeta moderated by Sujoy Ghosh

March 31 7 - 8 pm: Discussion on Munna Bhai MBBS and Lage Raho Munna Bhai might be moderated by Sriram Raghavan.

April 1 7 - 8 pm: Discussion on Khamosh moderated by Rohan Sippy.

April 2 7 - 8 pm: Discussion on 1942-A Love Story moderated by Imtiaz Ali.

April 4 7 - 8 pm: Discussion on 3 Idiots moderated by Ram Madhwani.

One of the crucial actors of those films can also be joining the discussion. That is for the primary time that the sort of step have been taken.

With a view to screen the films, Vinod Chopra Production needed to restore a few of their films visually in addition to their sound as they were very old. This was a pain staking exercise for all of the team because the sound have been upgraded to 5.1 Dolby.
