Randeep Hooda is ready to play a personality modeled across the iconic character of the cold blooded Anton Chigurh (played by Javier Bardem) from No Country For Old Men, for his forthcoming film John Day, which an fringe of the seat revenge drama.

Randeep plays a violent, cold and menacing character with a gloomy humorousness just like that of Javier's within the film No Country For Old Men.

When asked, debut director Solomon said, "Well yes Randeep's character is modeled around Javier Bardem's character in No Country For Old Men however the similarity ends here. If truth be told my character is way more complex, just recall to mind Anton Chigurh with an intense love story. Randeep's character is terribly violent, heartless and really aggressive. I USED TO BE extremely excited while writing the script, and the nature and Javier was on my mind. However the film has nothing to do with No Country For Old Men".

Produced by Anjum Rizvi (produced of A Wednesday) and K. Asif, the film has an ensemble cast with Randeep Hooda, Naseeruddin Shah, Shenaz Patel, Salim Ghouse and Vipin Sharma playing important characters within the film.

John Day is slated to move on floors in May this year.
