Salman Khan’s 1st task with the Yash Raj banner has landed in trouble after Vikram Vashishtha, nephew of exact life spy Late Ravindra Kaushik, delivered a lawful notice to the production house demanding a unique screening. Copies of the lawful notice have also been sent to Central Board of Film Certification and the Film & TV Producers Guild and picture Federation of India.
Speaking with a top daily, Vashishtha said, “He (Ravindra Kaushik) was my maternal uncle who was with RAW. Born on April 11, 1952 in Sriganganagar he also did his graduation from there. He has shown his talent at national level dramatic meet in Lucknow, which was also seen by several officials of RAW. He was approached and offered work for the name of the game intelligence in Pakistan. Later he was sent to Pakistan for the role.”
The promos of the movie bear striking likeness to Kaushik’s experiences in Pakistan and hence his members of the family has sought legal help to either take a look at the unique story or view the movie before it releases.
