Priyadarshan wins - Mallikas Laila out of Tezz

Mallika Sherawat v/s Priyadarshan drama has taken a brand new turn. Though it was widely believed that one had heard the last of controversy across the item song in Tezz, there's a twist within the tale. Also, it's Priyadarshan who's now having the general say, what with the song being totally snipped off the film.

"Priyan Sir was always against the song from the very beginning. Now a decision have been taken the song won't feature within the film in any respect. Leave aside it not being included within the running length of the film; it won't even feature in spite of everything credit title rolls, as is the norm for such item numbers. In fact Mallika cannot be expected to be at liberty about this or even Sameera Reddy is also seen smiling secretly somewhere across the corner. Still, the truth remains that everything now seems to have fallen in line, what with Priyan Sir taking the overall call", informs our well placed source.

Though one wonders if Mallika is flummoxed with the present developments, those with reference to the makers insist that they were prepared for such eventuality for the reason that song was always a final minute call and hence the probability of it being fitted within the film's narrative was almost as as regards to nil.

"No, Mallika should not be bothered since she was always in loop across the song being picturised just for the promotional reasons", an in depth associate of the film's producer is available in his defense, "Ratanji (Ratan) is often fair in his deals. He was within the business for many years now and would never short-change any actor. Though it'll look like Priyan Sir is having the general laugh, the truth is that even Ratanji wasn't too inclined to incorporate the song inside the film from the very beginning. He had told Mallika about this and the song was picturised keeping in mind that it might never make it to the massive screen."

However, many within the business believe that the verdict to cut off the song from the general edit (and never even include finally credits roll) was a knee jerk reaction because of all of the controversy surrounding it.

"Whatever be the case, it has added directly to the film's promotional drive", a PR expert comments, "Tezz fortune wasn't depending on the song in the end because it was pitched as a high octane action thriller. The film ultimately belongs to Ajay Devgn, Anil Kapoor and Sameera Reddy. Mallika was roped in so as to add directly to the spice and she or he did what she was asked to do. Now although the song isn't featuring within the film, the job is completed".

We guess in order well.
