Anurag Kashyap has reason to celebrate. Three of his films (Gangs of Wasseypur Part 1 and 2 and Peddlers) have made it to the celebrated Cannes Film Festival.
Anurag's directorial venture Gangs of Wasseypur Part 1 and 2 was selected for the Cannes Director's Fortnight to be held in May while another of his production Peddlers directed by debutant Vasan Bala makes it to the Critics Week at Cannes.
Gangs of Wasseypur talks in regards to the coal mafia in Jharkhand and stars Manoj Bajpayee, Nawazuddin Siddique, Richa Chadda and Huma Qureshi. Peddlers meanwhile talks about Mumbai, a girl on a mission, a person living a lie and an aimless drifter and stars Gulshan Devaiyah, Kriti Malhotra and Nishikant Kamat.
