If the standards for a film's popularity is the choice of trailers which might be attached to it, then Sajid Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala's Housefull 2 is the most well liked film of all times.
There are a record-breaking 6 trailers already attached to the film with probabilities of no less than 2 more being finalized within the next 24 hours.
Apparently, the wannabe-attached trailer-queue have been progressively reaching a pandemic proportion. Nadiadwala is at a loss as to stop the flow.
"Main kisko na bolun (whom could I say no to?). They're all friends asking to join Housefull 2. I'd like to have the entire trailers. But when we allow all of them there'll be more trailer-time than feature film," laments Nadidawala.
For now Nadiadwala has green lighted 6 trailers…Prabhu Deva's Rowdy Rathore, Kunal Kohli's Teri Meri Kahani, Ekta Kapoor's Kya Super Kool Hain Hum, Shoojit Sircar's Vicky Donor, Supavitra Babul's Bittoo Boss and Priyadarshan's Tezz.
The request for 2 of those trailers to be attached came from Nadiadwala's leading men. Apparently, Akshay Kumar and John Abraham's requested Nadidawala to let Rowdy Rathore and Vicky Donor be attached.
And that is not the end of the tale. There are a minimum of five more producers-directors insisting to let their trailers be attached to Housefull 2. Nadiadwala would take a choice on their fate in a day's time.
The problem is Housefull 2 is already a lengthy 2 hour 30 minute film. 6-8 trailers would bring the whole playing-time to just about 2 hours 45 minutes.
"I've never felt more helpless. Every producer who wants his trailer with Housefull 2 is a chum. It's truly a compliment to our film. Never before has any film been swamped with such a lot of requests for trailers to be attached. I'm touched and flattered. But because the collection of trailers grows, I THINK the trailers aren't attached to Housefull 2. It is the opposite direction around. Housefull 2 is hooked up to the trailers," quips Nadiadwala.
