Jackie Govinda come under FDA scanner

If you've surfed through your TV channels late within the night, you surely will need to have seen the likes of Jackie Shroff and Govinda chatting with a packed auditorium explaining the advantages of Sandhi Sudha herbal oil. Now this very endorsement seems to have landed the duo in trouble because the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has decided to take strict action against the promoters of those products, actors who endorse them and television channels which air these promotional ads.

The FDA has come to a conclusion that almost all of those claims made by such companies are false and finally end up duping innocent consumers. Hence it has filed police complaints across various police stations in Maharashtra under various sections of the medicine and Magic Remedies (Objectionable advertisements) Act 1955. Violation of the act attracts imprisonment for 6 months or a great or both.
