The Ajay Devgn, Sonakshi Sinha and Sanjay Dutt starrer Son Of Sardaar which releases this Diwali has run into legal trouble. Apparently, a Chandigarh based lawyer served a legal notice to the makers of the film citing that the film portrays Sikhs in poor light.
The explanation for the civil suit is that lawyer Navkiran Singh felt that certain comments like "If Sikhs weren't there, then who would have invented abuses" and in addition "in case Sardar do not need been there, then on whom would the jokes be made", hurt the emotions of the community at large.
Singh has since given Devgn time of 7 days, to answer the suit and make the required changes within the dialogues, post which his office would take legal action, at the criminal in addition to civil side, against Devgn and all other persons excited by execution of this film.
