Dil Chahta Hai is one film so one can always be remembered for plenty of reasons than one. Firstly, it marked the debut of Farhan Akhtar as a director and Ritesh Sidhwani as a producer. Besides this, it also gave Bollywood, its headstart of boy-bonding films like Rock On, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara etc, to call a few.
The news is that the impeccable duo of Ritesh and Farhan are actually planning to make Fukrey. For the uninitiated, Fukrey is a slang that's common in Delhi, because of this good for nothing. The film could be directed by Mrigdeep Singh Lamba, who made his directorial debut with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra productions' Teen They Bhai. While the film is meant to be set in North India, the tale will revolve around young guys in highschool and faculty. Buzz is that, so far as the starcast is concerned, the makers are planning to launch newcomers within the film.
