The Ajay Devgn, Sonakshi Sinha and Sanjay Dutt starrer Son Of Sardaar which releases this Diwali has run into legal trouble. Apparently, a Chandigarh-based lawyer served a legal notice to the makers of the film citing that the film portrays Sikhs in poor light.
The explanation for the civil suit is that lawyer Navkiran Singh felt that certain comments like "If Sikhs weren't there, then who would have invented abuses" and in addition "in case Sardar wouldn't have been there, then on whom would the jokes be made", hurt the feelings of the community at large.
Singh has since given Devgn time of 7 days, to reply to the suit and make the mandatory changes within the dialogues, post which his office would take legal action, at the criminal in addition to civil side, against Devgn and all other persons concerned with execution of this film.
