Sher Khan can have two tigers- Sohail Khan

The human 'Tiger' Salman Khan will share screen space with a computer-generated tiger in Sohail Khan's Sher Khan.

Contrary to the reports claiming that Sohail Khan's film Sher Khan was "canned", the film is ready to roll in January 2013.

Confirming this and refuting rumours that Salman has halted the project for the want of a Bengal Tiger, Sohail speaking from outside India said, "WHEN I start shooting in January all of the rumours and speculation will die down. I'M out of the country, so I've no idea about what's being written about my film. Even though I'M in India I'M too busy with pre-production to concentrate on rumours."

Sohail confirms the tiger would play a pivotal part within the film together with Salman. "The film is a two-hero project, the human tiger (Salman) and the animal tiger," says Sohail.

One learns from a source that it's already been decided the tiger can be computer-generated.

Says the source, "With the Animal Welfare Board breathing down their necks there's no question of an actual tiger getting used. Besides the Sher Khan unit should be careful of Salman's neurological condition. Any stress can trigger it off. They don't seem to be taking any chances."
