Yesteryears' actor Joy Mukhejee, who was ailing at Mumbai's Lilavati hospital, breathed his last today at 1 pm IST. He was 73 years old and was affected by respiratory problems.
Joy Mukherjee made his acting debut in 1960 with Love In Simla. Post that he became well-liked by films like Shagird, Love In Tokyo, Bahu Beti, Phir Wohi Dil Laya Hoon, Ek Musafir Ek Hasina, Puraskar, and Hum Hindustani.
Joy may be the paternal uncle of actresses Kajol, Tanisha and Rani Mukerji. He's survived by his wife Neelam and sons Boy and Toy.
