Yesterday, the incident that happened at the sets of producer-actor Ajay Devgn's forthcoming film Son Of Sardar (directed by Ashwini Dheer) was shocking. A MILD man named Machinder Arvel AKA Bala, got electrocuted only some metres away, from where Devgn was shooting for the film and died instantaneous. While Bipin Yadav, another light man, is within the ICU.
Dharmesh Tiwari, FWICE's President expressed serious concern over the incidents and termed it as a tragedy. Meanwhile, Ganesh Khandane (Bala's brother-in-law and likewise a gentle man by profession) said that his sister and he are deeply shocked by the incident. He added that they're grateful to FWICE that his brother's body is being flown into Mumbai. Even if they're clueless about what to do after this unfortunate incident, they're planning to demand compensation from Ajay Devgn.
Throwing more light at the untimely incident, Prem Singh Thakur (VP of the Union), explained that a hi-voltage 11,000 Watts line was running overhead, just above the streamer. When the streamer was being raised, the hi-voltage line lifted it to a perfect height, much towards itself. He added that the incident happened when the sunshine men were looking to raise a streamer so that you can increase the intensity of sunshine that might fall at the faces of actors Ajay Devgn and Mukul Dev. Within the same context, he even met Kumar Mangat (a detailed associate of Ajay Devgn), who promised that he's going to leave no stone unturned in compensating Machinder's family.
Meanwhile, Ajay and his co-stars of the film (Sanjay Dutt, Juhi Chawla and others) have decided to supply compensation to assist Machinder's family. Actor-producer Ajay Devgn took to social networking site, Twitter, mourning over the incident with a post saying, "IT IS A sad day 2day bcoz in the course of the shoot 2day we lost 1 of our men. Mourning his loss. D team has taken a large hit."
Ajay also played dutiful producer, sympathizing with and vowing to compensate the family of the lost member, saying, "Nothing can compensate his loss an my heart goes out to his family! We can do whatever we will be able to to support them." The unit may be planning to have pooja on Tuesday morning before they resume shooting.
