He was delivering a chain of blockbusters, especially in last couple of years, and something that Salman Khan is being aware of is ensuring that every of his films caters to family audience. Though Dabangg did have a touch of a few tongue in cheek humour (remember 'Hum Tum Mein Itne Chhed Karenge.....'?), basically he has stayed away bringing anything in his films that reeks of adult content.
"Same is the case in Dabangg 2 as well", says a prominent crew member, "Yes, there's some naughty humour that goes with Chulbul Pandey. However even that will be subtle and there won't be anything vulgar about it. Thodi masti rahegi, thoda funny rahega but there won't be anywhere for bathroom humour."
In fact Salman in addition to Arbaaz Khan was acutely aware of this fact as a result of which there has been a slight alteration done within the theatrical promo in comparison to the only (with Salman entering his naughty self) which went online.
"As a personality Chulbul Pandey is intrinsically naughty and because the film is about within the UP-Bihar belt again, the core of the stage and setting has to stay intact. However that does not mean that the Khan brothers are compromising at the 'clean' tag with which they want to release Dabangg", the crew member continues, "NOR IS there any bad language nor any hint of skin show. Even the thing song 'Fevicol' doesn't have any vulgarity to it. You cannot expect that either with Kareena Kapoor in there."
With essentially the most intimate moment between Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha also being restricted to an insignificant peck at the cheek, and that too rather symbolically, guess Dabangg 2 could well end 2012 on a 'clean' note.
