Since Aamir plays Inspector Shekhawat, a cop who's investigating a tricky case, he thought it'd be rather apt if through the promotions of the film he got an opportunity to have interaction with crime journalists especially individuals who have done investigative journalism. Aamir was a keen follower of crime and investigative journalism and he thinks that they do an excessively commendable job within the tough circumstances. Hence he can be meeting and interacting with various crime journalists during his promotional spree in various cities of India.
