In a scene straight out of his film My Name Is Khan, Shah Rukh Khan was recently detained on the Big apple White Plane Airport for over two hours. The actor had flown to NYC to deal with the Yale University students.
Shah Rukh, who was named a Chubb Fellow, one of the vital Ivy League institution's highest honours, on April 12 for promoting human ideals through art, was accompanied by Neeta Ambani. However, despite the remainder of the passengers being cleared with out a hitch, SRK was detained, which resulted in the university officials contacting the dept of Homeland Security and the Immigration and Customs Department at Washington, about his detention.
However, information about why the actor was detained are yet to be confirmed.
This is the second one time that SRK was detained in US. In 2009 also, he was stopped on the Newark Airport for questioning.
