The keenly awaited Aamir Khan starrer TALAASH, which was slated for release on 1 June, was postponed. Yes, you read it right. Though the film is complete and the post-production would also conclude much before the due date, the producers, Ritesh Sidhwani, Aamir Khan and Farhan Akhtar, have decided to push the discharge of the film ahead.
What's the cause of rescheduling the discharge date? "Aamir is interested by his television show, that is starting across the same time. The perfectionist and uncompromising individual that he is, Aamir may be left with little time available to advertise TALAASH. Since TALAASH is the actor's next big release after 3 IDIOTS, we mutually decided to push the discharge of the film forward. Besides, Aamir can have sufficient time available to advertise the film," producer Ritesh Sidhwani confirmed to this writer.
So what is the iteration date of the film? "It's 30 November. We're releasing the film after Diwali," Ritesh divulges.
