UTV Films have received the rights of the Hindi remake of the Telugu movie Arya 2 featuring Allu Arjun and directed by Sukumar. However, when UTV contacted Salman Khan to work within the remake, he’s said to have rejected the offer.
Earlier, he also rejected to work within the remake of Mahesh Babu’s Dookudu. Salman Khan, within the previous couple of years worked in remakes of South movies – Wanted, Bodyguard and prepared. He's going to also work within the remake of Kick. Salman Khan is currently filming for YRF’s Ek Tha Tiger. Later he'll participate in Kick and Dabaang 2.
Arya 2 is a 2009 Telugu romantic sequel to the 04 hit Arya, featuring Allu Arjun. Arya 2 saw Allu Arjun paired with Kajal Agarwal of Singham fame. Movie director Sukumar was the captain of both the films.
