Preity Zinta and her director Prem Raj could well be heaving a sigh of relief. Though they were the primary to associate Ishkq with a eu city, courtesy their film Ishkq In Paris, sudden announcement of the Yash Chopra film being titled London Ishq wasn't quite expected to please them. However now that the officials at Yash Raj Films have announced that their Shahrukh-Katrina-Anushka starrer isn't called London Ishq, those related to Ishkq In Paris are glad that each one speculations was laid to rest.
"No filmmaker would wish similar sounding titles to reach so as regards to each other", says a source, "ALTHOUGH the Shah Rukh starrer arrives in Diwali, Preity's film would release a couple of weeks before that. While this may have meant that Ishkq In Paris always had an upper hand, the truth that this yet untitled film by Chopraji is already seeing a splurge in promotion couldn't was ignored. Now if only the film would indeed has been titled London Ishq, imagine how much confusion it might have created within the audience mind."
In fact rumours are that once the newsbreak first happened around London Ishq being the title of the Shah Rukh starrer, there have been many that felt that Preity could share her concerns with Yash Chopra.
"After all, Preity have been a favorite with the production house and has acted in different films with them. Actually she was the leading lady of Chopraji's last film Veer Zaara besides because of this communication between them was never a subject matter. However, since there has been no official word from YRF, Preity in addition to Prem decided to attend and watch", a source on the subject of the makers adds.
However none of that may be required, now that it's Shah Rukh's film instead that's trying to find a title. Meanwhile, Preity too has just returned to Mumbai after completing one schedule of Ishkq In Paris at (where else but!) Paris. While Prem could be back in Paris soon to hold forward his romantic rendezvous, one now waits to look what surprise does Yash Chopra have up his sleeves for his 'ishkq' in London.
