Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's biopic Bhaag Milkha Bhaag in keeping with the lifetime of world famous athlete Milkha Singh is ready to move on floors today. Announced with much fanfare, Prasoon Joshi and Rakeysh Mehra was engaged on the script for nearly a year. The film stars Farhan Akhtar and Sonam Kapoor in lead roles.
Rakyesh Mehra and his team has been in search of an excellent location to begin shooting and after visiting just about all towns of Punjab they have got shortlisted Firozpur to commence their first schedule from today. Firozpur has the easiest topography and hues that the art direction team was searching for. Its culture and historical background adds to the authenticity of the film.
Milkha Singh too could be very excited that Farhan Akhtar would play the title role and that the film is being shot in Punjab.
