^Shah Rukh Khan's affinity with Kolkata now extends beyond his IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders. The Baadshah of Bollywood has now been roped in as a brand ambassador by Kolkata based Prayag Group for its mammoth project- a Rs.1000 crore state-of-the-art film city.
Prayag Group, with interests in infrastructure, hospitality and picture production, might be constructing the film city at Chandrakona in Midnapore district. The project is spread across 2700 acres and can be completed in two phases. The primary phase is perhaps ready by April 15. The project have been designed by noted art director Nitish Roy.
King Khan expressed his happiness at being a part of this venture which might help the film industry.
