The makers of LOOTERA, starring Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha, had announced the discharge date of the film [26 October] on the launch of the film itself, however it looks like the movie won't make it at the chosen date. Reason? Ranveer Singh's back problem has led to the shooting schedules of the film going haywire. Resultantly, it'll take a while to obtain the combo dates of its principal actors.
Swati Shetty of Balaji confirms that LOOTERA won't make it on 26 October as a result of Ranveer's back problem. "The doctors have advised him [Ranveer] complete bed-rest. He's expected to renew shootings by May-end. It means we cannot have the ability to make it on 26 October, as planned initially. A fresh release date can be announced later," she states.
Reportedly, LOOTERA will now release within the first quarter of 2013.
