Academy Award winning musician A.R. Rahman can be featured within the OWN original primetime series, Oprah's Next Chapter, as a part of a brand new two-part special episode titled Oprah Travels to India. The show talks about Oprah's visit to India where Rahman welcomes her and the show highlights his foundation KM Music Conservatory by featuring a shocking performance with The KM Music Conservatory children's choir. The choir had the honour of performing for Oprah in addition to a few of Bollywood's biggest stars at what Indian media proclaimed as 'the party of the year'. Capturing her first trip to the country, Oprah Travels to India premiered yesterday (Sunday April 22, 2012) at 8/9c on OWN with part 2 of the episode, 'Women of India', to air on Sunday, April 29.
