In a surprising incident, a junior actress Minakshi Thapa from Kareena Kapoor’s Heroine was brutally killed in Allahabad. Madhur Bhandarkar roped in Thapa for a tiny part in Heroine, but later she went missing for a month. Apparently, the accused Junior artists – Amit Kumar Jaiswal and Preeti Elvina Surin, supposedly befriended Thapa at the sets of Heroine.
Police sources informed a top daily that Thapa initially cooked up a narrative that she belonged to a rich family and wanted to try her luck in Bollywood as a hobby. Lured by this, the accused chalked out a cold-blooded intend to kidnap Thapa. They’re eventually successful in convincing the actress with a large modelling project after which took her to UP. Later, they killed the actress by strangulating her. They dumped her body there and chopped off her head.
After investigating deep into the case, the police eventually nabbed the accused who later revealed their deadly offense.
