Never in her wildest dreams must Genelia D'Souza have imagined that being a brand ambassador of a undeniable Andhra Pradesh based 'Anjaniputra' real estate company would bring her unwanted trouble.
The recent update in this case is that, the Andhra Pradesh High Court has directed her to seem before it personally or through her lawyer for the said case, on Wednesday. Counsel of the petitioner named Chatta Tirupathaiah, happens to be some of the many of us who had trusted the said firm, but was allegedly duped by them in return. Not only that, he also allegedly stated that that the administrators of Anjaniputra Infrastructure, took the whole amount from him for a flat, but had didn't register the similar in his favour. He added that police registered an FIR against directors of the actual estate firm but neglected Genelia. To which, the Court asked her to provide an explanation for as to why her name shouldn't be included within the FIR, when she appears on April 25. Along with that, Justice K. C. Bhanu (of the AP high court) had issued a notice to Genelia asking her to provide an explanation for her version to a petition that charged her with cheating innocent people in the course of the real estate venture.
Further, Tirupataiah also claimed that as a brand ambassador, Genelia lured customers to the corporate by giving it a clean chit for good management practices. And, that's why she had a task within the deception. He also added that she had even claimed within the promotion that she was one the administrators of the corporate and had bought plots within the venture.
