THE DIRTY PICTURE was one of the crucial biggest hits of 2011 and UTV and director Rajkumar Gupta pulled off a coup by teaming Vidya Balan and Emraan Hashmi of their next endeavor GHANCHAKKAR. However, just recently, a bit of the media went overboard by stating that Emraan had opted out of the film for reasons best known to him. The news-piece came as a rude shock for fans of Vidya and Emraan both, who were keen to look at the preferred Jodi yet again, after THE DIRTY PICTURE.
However, the reality is, Emraan could be very much part of GHANCHAKKAR; he hasn't opted out of the project in any respect. "Emraan loves the script and both Emraan and Vidya are excited to work with one another. In fact, the filming of GHANCHAKKAR will begin in August/September," Siddharth Roy Kapur of UTV sets the record straight. Well, Emraan and Vidya fans can now heave a sigh of relief!
