Dhanush re-edits 3 for Hindi market

Tamil superstar is incensed by reports that his father-in-law is reimbursing the Telugu distributor of three for revenue losses. Says Dhanush, "How I LIKE the stories which might be created simply because I'M married to a specific person's daughter. 3 has suffered no losses. Or even if there are losses to be compensated for, God was kind to me. I WILL BE ABLE TO deal with my very own financial liabilities, thanks very much."

Contrary to reports that Rajinikanth has taken charge of his son-in-law Dhanush's ambitious Tamil-Hindi romantic saga directed by Rajinikanth's wife Aishwarya, in fact Dhanush's Hindi debut is being manoeuvred completely by Dhanush.

The Hindi version of three which might be released next month also stars Kamal Haasan's daughter Shruti who's yet to ascertain a foothold in Hindi cinema. The protecting father and the movie enthusiast in Kamal Haasan feels 3 could do a global of excellent to the Hindi careers of Dhanush and Shruti, provided it's edited down especially within the second-half.

Dhanush who have been painstakingly engaged on the Hindi version of three has apparently decided to take Kamal Haasan's advice seriously.

Says a source as regards to the project, "The film has gone into serious re-editing. Most pros feel 3 didn't work to its optimum level on the Tamil and Telugu box-office as a result of its inordinate length. Kamalji saw the film and made suggestions as to how and where to prune down the length, especially within the second-half.

Says Dhanush, "Yes I'M editing the film down further. Kamal Sir did see the film and was kind enough to make suggestions."
