We've all heard of movies running into trouble with the censor board for diverse reasons. But the upcoming Sajid Khan film produced by Sajid Nadiadwala - Housefull 2 bumped into a place of trouble when a couple of animal activists urged the censor board to not approve the film, as they were unsure if the producers had acquired the right kind permissions to shoot with animals within the film.
Bollywood Hungama has since learnt that each one the requisite permissions were in place and the premiere and the discharge will go ahead as planned. Apparently because the scenes were shot in London the requisite permissions were obtained from the board there, excluding the Animal Welfare Board in Chennai.
With the problem now closed Housefull 2 will release as scheduled in this Friday (April 6) with its Singapore premiere going down today.
