Onir and Sanjay Suri, who won the National Award for his or her film I Am, has been invited to join the CNC Producers Network on the Cannes Film Festival. The duo, who seeked online funding for his or her film I Am, will attempt to meet various filmmakers and other studios to pitch of their forthcoming projects.
Some in their forthcoming projects include Chauranga (a love story that deals with caste divide), Coach Kameena (an inspirational sports film set in Punjab) and Shab (a narrative of a gigolo and a choice girl)
While Chauranga and Coach Kameena can be directed by debutants Bikas Mishra and Ashwini Malik respectively, Shab can be directed by Onir himself.
